Description
Mardi Himal Trek takes you to the west Annapurna Region of Nepal and is one of the off beaten trails away from busy trails of the region. Mardi Himal Trekking trail is also regarded as eso-tourism trail that passes through lush forests filled with Oak, Rhododendron and other vegetation. The trek provides the opportunity to explore rural villages and rural community that are yet untouched modernization. During the trek one can witness the spectacular views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Macchapuchhre.
Itinerary:
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu
After your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport, one of our representatives greets you and escorts you to your allotted Hotel. After check in at Hotel you can either relax at Hotel or hang around the Kathmandu City. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (6 hrs drive)
Today you board a tourist bus and drive towards the city of lakes, Pokhara. The 7 hours scenic drives offers you the spectacular view of beautiful hills, various landscapes, fast flowing rivers, along with the wonderful hamlets. After reaching Pokhara check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Pokhara to Pothana (1,970m) 5 hrs walk
Your first trek commences today so early in the morning drive towards Phedi and then start trek towards Pothana for about 5 hours. The trail follows the steep ascends to the hill to reach Dhampus and provides the magnetic views of Annapurna range and Mount Manaslu along with other Himalayas. You trek a little further to reach Pothana before sunset. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 04 : Pothana to Forest Camp (2,550m) 7 hrs walk
Wake up early in the morning and continue your trek after the breakfast. Today’s trail leads towards the Forest Camp passing through the dense forest all day long. As you march forwards through the trail the Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna greets you with the spectacular view. The trail may also encounter some wild animal like Leopards, Deer etc along with varieties of birds. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 05 : Forest Camp to Low Camp (3,035m) 4 hrs walk
Today you trek towards the Low Camp for about 4 hours following the dense forest along with the beautiful rhododendron trees. The trail first starts with at steep ascend then changes to gradual climb after a while. The trail also offers the random views of snowy Himalayan peaks. The low camp offers the superb view of Mount Machhapuchhre. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 06 : Low Camp to High Camp (3,590m) 4 hrs walk
Today’s trail continues through grasslands of high region with occasional rhododendron trees towards the High Camp. One can easily spot beautiful bird called Himalayan Monal; also known as the Impeyan Monal, Impeyan Pheasant and Danphe in Nepali around these route. With te continuous walk for about 4 hours you finally reach High Camp. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 07 : Hike to Upper View Point (4,200m) & back to High Camp (3,590m) 4.5 hrs walk
Wake up early in the morning to witness the spectacular sunrise view over the Himalayas. Then have your breakfast and continue your walk towards the Upper View Point for magnificent views of close Himalayan Peaks. The trial goes through the grassland and involves few steep sections. The trek is neither too challenging nor too easy; it is a moderate trek for about 5 hours. After reaching Upper View Point spend some quality time there witnessing the close superb view of mountains and then later return back to lodge at High Camp. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 08 : High Camp to Siding Village (1,280m) 7 hrs walk
Descend to the Low Camp following the same trail to get there. Then leave the previous trail and trek through the forest heading towards Madi Khola. Descend further and reach the Siding Village. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 09 : Siding Village to Pokhara (2.5 hr walk & 1 hr drive)
Today’s trail descends down to Lumre passing through the Tamang and Gurung Village. Your trek halts upon reaching the Lumre from where you catch a vehicle and drive towards Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara check in at Hotel and then oam around the beautiful and peace Phwea Lake. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today you drive back to Kathmandu enjoying the natural scenic beauty for about 7 hours in the tourist bus. Upon reaching Kathmandu check in at Hotel. Later in the evening attend the farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant organized our team. After dinner drive back o Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11 : Transfer to the Airport for your onward destination
Your Mardi Himal Trekking finally comes to an end today. One of our representatives escorts to you the international terminal approximately three hours before your flight schedule. We hope you had a lovely time with us. Have a safe flight back to Home!

- Accommodation in Kathmandu & Pokhara including breakfast as per the itinerary.
